Born in Bogotá, Colombia.

A graduate in law from the Universidad Sergio Arboleda in Bogotá, he joined the firm in 1990 as an associate and is now a Senior Partner in Pedro Castillo Pineda & Associates and head of the Trademark Department. Has conducted seminars and congresses on industrial property and is an expert in trademarks, having completed advanced studies on this topic at John Marshall Law School.
